DIY LAYOUT

Step by step instructions follow to  make this cute layout!
1. Select photos that work with blues and greens.

2. Remove all die cuts from one sheet and sand the “tabs”. Cut photos with scissors/ pencil to fit neatly in the holes.

3.Mat photo – about 1 cm, use bracket punch on the right edge and stitch around the mat twice

4. Scrape sides of die cut sheet and photo mat with edge of scissors then ink with brown ink. Machine stitch edge and adhere to layout with magic mount.

5. Adhere title - negative letters look funky and interesting

6. Stitch round the outer edge of the layout

7. Now add the "wow" factor, the little details - sew buttons on the big bug, make a little ribbon/ button tab for your bracket, sew a few buttons and french knots for eyes on the bugs at the bottom, put a button on a photo corner to make it really sweet..... The sky is the limit! These are the details that I love to add that take a cute page to an adorable layout.
,

8. Display your layout somewhere in your home for a week or two - until the next one takes it's place. Enjoy and admire your gorgeous work!

And here is another one done with the Jungle Bug range .... oh the letters are from "Rewind" and the Orange paper is from "Pina Colada". I have a massive stash of buttons!

TEDDY BEAR ALBUM

I made this specially for the Kaiser DT call. The heart charms were off a very tarnished bracelet I found last night in the bottom of my scrapping tote - must have been there a few years I reckon! Buttons from my massive personal stash. The rest is Kaiser!
