SOME RECENT LAYOUTS

It's been a bit quiet on Planet Nicole-blog! But not quiet in my scrapping room. I photographed a huge pile today :-) I hope you love them!

FUN LAYOUTS

Sometimes in life the simple things ARE the best. This is not a fantastic layout. It's a piece of GORGEOUS yummy yummy Bo Bunny Die Cut paper, with some cute AC alphas, a piece of fabric I found on the floor, an MM tag, a Bo Bunny brad and a bit of ribbon. My 14 yo saw it and said "cool Mum". He meant it, it does what scrapping needs to do - it tells the story, it tells it in a way that at the time of the photo the person in the photo would like! So this is one of my fav layouts at the mo :-)  Oh and Clicked Look Back Air would be the name of a BMX trick :-)

I purposely distressed the apples by sticky tape on them then pulling it off! Lots of Kaiser, and MM alphas.

I love LOVE LOVE Echo Park. And AC alphas. 2 Fav products meet! Notice lots of machine stitching.

MAD ABOUT BO BUNNY

I recall a conversation, sitting at a Creative memories demo about 10 years ago when someone mentioned the name Bo Bunny, at that stage BB used to do ranges of the same shades in lots of different patterns! One of my scrapping friends was 100% sure that "Bo Bunny" was the full name of an actual person in the US. I have since found that in fact Bo Bunny was the name of a designer's child's toy rabbit! It made a lot of sense when I heard that :-) Hahaha!!

 Same, same but different!!  I often scrap the same photo twice (or 4 times LOL). This time I used an exquisite paper and title from My Minds Eye. I cut in behind the photo and saved a chunk of the paper and typed the journalling. There's a gorgeous transparency around the photo, it was in my stash for many years and I have no idea where it came from. No doubt a scrapping shop of some sort!
